New items added to my Studio
Hi everyone!
I took pictures of the bows I made for the craft fair I went to a couple weeks ago, and have started listing them at my Artfire Studio:
Mar 13, 2011
Since there were only two people who commented on my bow giveaway post, I thought it would feel odd picking a number or flipping a coin or whatever to choose one winner, so I have decided to give away a bow (or set of the smaller bows) to both commenters! Yay, congrats to you both!
I will contact the both of you via email to get your choice of bows and your mailing information.

How about a Bow give away?
So my last give away had a few takers, so let’s see how many will jump in for this one! Leave a comment on this post to enter to win your choice of any of the bows in the photos in my last post except the ones with spikes & loops (those would be the 4th of July bows, and the two Easter bows that are in the middle, horizontally, in the first photo of just the bows). We’ll set the end date this Saturday night, March 12, and I’ll draw a winner on Sunday, March 13. …

It was a pretty small operation, but what better place to get my toes wet with the craft fair scene? The entry fee was only $10, for a 10 foot space. If I had had more product, that would have been a super investment. Alas I had only one table, and pretty much took all of what I have in my Artfire shop, and spent one and a half weeks in my off hours trying to make as many bows as I could. Yes, it was also a spur of the moment decision to jump into it, so I didn’t…

Updated code, and my Smoosher’s entry
I think IE should now be able to see this site without choking. I’m a little embarrassed to say it was bad coding on my part, and apparently FF and Chrome just “knew” what I was getting at, while IE was taking things literally. With the help of my mother-in-law, who I am quite grateful for saving me the headache of figuring out what went wrong, all should look good now. Can’t promise anything in older browsers, but the up-to-date ones should be good to go. ArtFire…

New listings - pumpkin pie bead charms
I just listed some pumpkin pie bead charms I made a while back, and I’m making some more this week. There are four sets up for grabs - two pair without whipped cream, and two pair with whipped cream. They’re made with Premo polymer clay and real allspice. They do have a hint of allspice scent from using the real thing. These can be used to make a charm bracelet, earrings or a necklace. If you like pumpkin pie, you might like these, especially since they are…

New additions to my Studio
First, just to let you know, I didn't do a Featured Smoosher post last week because that person was me for the week. But, I did get two sales during my week as the Featured Smoosher, yay! One was a set of non-clay earrings, and the other was both sets of my snowmen charms. Anyway. August's Polymer Clay Smoosher's challenge theme was "medieval", and here are the two pieces I came up with for it. This one is a pewter colored medieval cross. Hand cut and shaped, with a red decorative marble…

New in the Studio - Space themed items
The Polymer Clay Smoosher's challenge theme this month was "Space". I created two items and posted them late last night. First, a rather irritated alien lady. She has three eyes, and glows in the dark: My second item, is a stylized Blue Moon pendant, which also glows in the dark: They're both made with glow in the dark polymer clay. The alien lady's eye stalks are clay covered head pins, anchored into the clay. For the Blue Moon pendant, I shaped it by hand and added the crater shapes…

First sale, and two new listings!
What a day. I was having a rather bad day (day job related), and then I checked my email and saw I had a sale! Oh my gosh! I can hardly describe how happy that made me and it just made my day. I'm ecstatic! It is only a few dollars, but really I don't care, I am happy nevertheless!! This is what I sold: I can still hardly believe it! It's already on its way to California to its new owner, I hope she likes it! It put me in such a great mood I decided to add a couple more listings for some…
