The ArtFire Crazy Train rider for March 19 - 20 is Wearable Art Huggable Friends. Laura knits and crochets many items - mostly things for babies and children, but there are a few scarves available for adults or children alike as well.  She has the cutest little crocheted stuffed toys, cupcake hats, baby berets, and infant sweaters and jumpers and more...  Go give her a visit!

The ArtFire Crazy Train rider for the 17th & 18th is Grand Prairie Woodworks. This studio is headed up by Tim, a master builder of Mission furniture.  At his studio he offers cutting boards, wooden cooking utensils, picture frames, lamps and a few other items. This week's Shops with less than (10) sales guild's featured studio is Liquidambar. Liquidambar is a husband and wife team, John and Kitty.  They work mostly with pottery, but Kitty also works with glass and creates ceramic jewelry.  Here are a few items from their studio:

I have to give huge kudos to a handful of my coworkers.  When we started our project I think we had well over 2300 tasks to tackle.  As of when I logged out of my work computer this evening, there were less than 1000 tasks left. I will be glad when this is over, I've had ideas brewing in my head for things to work on, and I signed up for a membership at beadsandbeading.com so that I can learn a few techniques with polymer clay that I don't know how to do yet, and I'd really like to get started…

I'm taking a bit of a break tonight from the day job work, since I did extras yesterday and will do a few extra tomorrow to make up for it.  So since I have a little time for myself tonight, I figure I should at least post the Crazy Train rider for today and tomorrow, which is Lovely Things. Relatively speaking. Kind of. This pertains to my full time day job. Short story, we're salaried. As thus, if our company wanted to make us work 16 hour days with no compensation other than our regular pay and a clap on the back, they could. The edict is to do "this task" by "this date". On paper, it is probably doable, IF everyone does a little every day, including weekends (so, I'm talking maybe 1-3 hrs a day, seven days a week, five weeks straight - on our own personal time). The ArtFire Crazy Train rider for March 7-8 is Acadienne.  She lives in Tucson, AZ and knits, crochets and embroiders her wares in her studio.
